Once you obtain a General Contractor license in North Carolina, the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors requires licensees to complete 8 hours of continuing education each year. Two of the hours must be a state-specified course, and the other 6 hours can be from a variety of topics. All of the courses we offer are state-approved, so when it comes time to renew your license you will be compliant with the most recent state requirements.
Contractors should note that the CE year begins on January 1st and ends November 30th. To complete the 2 hour Mandatory Course produced by the board, you are able to take one of our live webinars. The webinar courses we currently offer are valid for 2022 ONLY. If you need to The remaining elective hours can be taken in a self-paced online format.

To renew, you are required to complete 8 hours of NCLBGC Continuing Education, which must consist of the 2 hour board-mandated class and 6 hours of elective topics. The license holder or designated qualifier must complete education prior to November 30th of each year. Continuing education cannot be completed in December. We are an approved education provider through the board.
PURCHASE CONTINUING EDUCATION
We offer the required training online. Per state requirements, courses must be completed within 30 days of purchase, and no later than November 30th.
COMPLETE THE TRAINING
6 Hours can be taken online with us, each renewal. With us, the training is available 24/7 on nearly any device. The 2 Hour mandatory Course will need to be taken at one of our scheduled webinars. The board requires a maximum of 30 days from the time you purchase to complete the training.
